North Mississippi's Premier Newborn & Maternity Photographer bio picture
  • Hi, I’m Brandy.

My passion is maternity, newborn, and child photography. The round belly and glowing face of a soon-to-be new mama inspires me to capture that unconditional love & (slightly nervous) anticipation. A fresh, sleepy, fuzzy, curled up newborn makes my day in a way you can't even imagine. And an innocent look from a wide-eyed child. . . *sigh*. It doesn't get much better than that! The way I see it, each of these subjects represent a different point of view on the same subject, pure joy. And that's what I'm here to capture for you. The excitement, fun, love, sweetness, and JOY of life as it is in this moment is fleeting and I don't want to miss a thing.

Brandy Jaggers is North Mississippi's premier maternity, newborn, and child photographer. Located in Saltillo, MS, she offers modern, on-location portrait photography to Tupelo and the Northeast MS area specializing in maternity, newborn, and children.

tupelo child photographer | { the ericksons } a big peek

I had the immense pleasure of meeting up with a fellow photographer yesterday and doing a family session for her.  Jennifer Erickson is a fabulous photographer from Rushton, LA that drove up to North Mississippi to visit friends, family, and exchange photo sessions with me!  I’m so honored that she agreed to do a little swapping with me and am thrilled to show off some of the shots we got yesterday.  I am beyond excited to have her photograph my family tomorrow evening as well.  Check out Jennifer and her gorgeous children, Audrey & Rowan. . .

Jennifer, thank you so much for trusting me with these images of your beautiful family!  I had such a fantastic time chasing your kiddos around and I can’t wait until you do the same with mine.  I just hope my three boys are on their best behavior for you :)

I hope you love this giant peek at our session.  I’ve got plenty more to edit for you!

Leave me some comments!

Mathiston newborn photographer | {douglas} sneak peek – 10 days old

Oh my goodness, I had such a little “poser” this morning!  Mr. D just let me prop him, flip him, and basically just have my way with him for a couple of hours. . . I was in newborn heaven :)

Check out this little peek at the (way too many to sort) shots from his session . . .

This last one is just for daddy ;-).

Isn’t he just a dream?  Sonya and Brent, thank you so much for inviting me into your home to photograph your gorgeous little man.  He was such a pleasure to work with and I could have easily worked with him for several more hours if he’d have let me.   I hope you love this little peek at our session!

Tupelo Maternity Photographer | { the johnsons } sneak peek

Any of you that follow my blog on a regular basis should be familiar with this beautiful family.  I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them twice over the last couple of years and it’s such fun each and every time.  This time, they are welcoming a new member to their family and I couldn’t be more excited for them!  Braxton will be getting a playmate very soon.  Here’s a little sneak peek of the belly…

Emily & Jarrod, thank you so much once again for allowing me to take part in this wonderful time in your lives!  I’m sure Braxton will be a fabulous big brother and I can’t wait to meet the little “bun” in your oven.  I hope you love this little peek of your session!!

Tupelo child photographer | exploring new terrain…

So, in case some of you are not following on Facebook or Twitter, I have some news… I’ve switched teams. I just got my new Nikon D700 in today and let me tell you, it’s really hard to go from a comfortable, familiar camera system (I’ve shot nothing but Canon for over 12 years!) to new system. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is just totally backwards from what I’m used to!! But, I think this is going to be a hugely positive change for my photography. I’m looking forward to the challenge of learning this wonderful new camera. And look, I’ve already taken a shot with it :)

This will be my reading material for the next 2 months or so! Wish me luck with this transition!

booneville child photographer | { the nunleys } sneak peek

Well, what can I say?  Yesterday was not a good day for the Nunleys and I.  Our session seemed doomed from the get go.  Miss Bella was fussy, little Alec fell and busted his lip, and to top it all off. . . it started pouring rain just before we planned on venturing outdoors…aaahhh!  Needless to say, I’ll be back to capture  more images of this beautiful family, but just to show that it wasn’t a total waste, here’s a peek at some of what we managed to capture before it all fell apart, lol. . .

Jema, I hate that our session seemed to be “cursed”, but we still managed to get some great shots!  If these turned out this great, imagine what we can do when things are going our way.  I can’t wait to come back and work with you guys again, and trust me, I’ll be wishing for good luck all the way there, lol!  I hope you love this little peek and that it makes you feel a little better about our session :)
